Painting from memory is one of my favorite was to express myself artistically. I like the simplicity of this tiny piece – done completely from memory. Painting with the goal of expressing mood over a refined, technical approach can actually be more challenging artistically. I have to be in the right mood to pull it off. I’m in the right mood now and think that I might be about to go on an artistic binge with tiny pieces painted largely from my remembrances of outdoor adventures .
