Landscapes, usually with water and often inspired by fly fishing adventures make up the vast majority of my work. However, I am moved to create art by other sources of inspiration as well. Among them, horses, which have been a lifelong source of interest and inspiration. I have trained several and devoted innumerable hours to riding and exploring with them as a child and young adult. I enjoy them all from the hot bloods, such as Arabians, which I have the most personal experience with, to the amazing cold blood or draft horses – which, to me, have a presence without equal. Here are a few examples of my work inspired by horses. All of these pieces sold quickly at the Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
